What Is a Good ATS Score and How to Improve It

ATS scores range from 0 to 100, but not every score means the same thing. Here's how to read yours and what to change to move from red to green.

Below 60 means your resume is unlikely to reach a recruiter. 60–79 is borderline. 80+ is competitive. 90+ is where interview callbacks start compounding.

Fastest ways to move the score

Add the top 5 missing keywords from the job description.

Quantify at least half of your bullets.

Cut anything older than 10–12 years unless directly relevant.
